Memorial Students Explore Futures at Annual College and Career Fair
It’s never too early to start thinking about the future—and students at Memorial Junior High are already taking that step. This week, Memorial hosted its annual College and Career Fair, giving students a firsthand look at the many paths available to them after graduation.
Throughout the day, students visited exhibitor tables to learn about careers, colleges, and the skills needed for success. Representatives included local restaurant groups, first responders, a Cuyahoga County judge, a nurse, and even a filmmaker. Colleges such as Cuyahoga Community College, Ashland University, and Case Western Reserve University also joined the event to share information about programs and opportunities.
Students eagerly asked questions, collected information, and made connections that could help guide their future interests. The fair is designed to help students start thinking about their goals early, whether they envision college, a career, or another pathway after high school.
Events like these reflect Memorial’s commitment to preparing students for what’s next—by inspiring curiosity, building confidence, and helping each learner imagine a bright future ahead.
