SEL Schools Celebrate Annual Fathers' Walk

SEL Schools Celebrate Annual Fathers' Walk

On Thursday, September 17th, fathers, father figures, and mentors joined SEL students for the district's Fathers' Walk.

The tradition is a beloved part of the SEL Schools calendar. It invites the important figures in students' lives to walk alongside them to school. It's a simple gesture, but a powerful one. Across the district, buildings buzzed with energy as dads, grandfathers, guardians, uncles, and mentors turned out to take part.

"We had record turnout this year, and it was just so much fun to see," said Dr. Dominick Kaple, Superintendent of South Euclid-Lyndhurst Schools.

Turnout was especially strong at all participating buildings, K-6. For many students, having an adult walk with them to school is a moment they'll remember. Thank you to everyone who participated. Your presence makes a difference, and moments like these make SEL Schools feel like family.
