A Kinder Community
South Euclid-Lyndhurst City School District is building a kinder community - everyday.The Cities of Lyndhurst and South Euclid and the South Euclid-Lyndhurst Schools are proud to partner with the Kindland movement, a community-wide initiative presented by the Values-in-Action Foundation. Together, we are working to make our region one of the kindest places in the nation, where empathy, respect, and generosity guide how we work, learn, and live.
Kindland is built on the belief that kindness isn't just nice - it's transformative. By centering kindness as a community value, we aim to strengthen connections among neighbors, enhance learning environments for students, and build bridges across generations and organizations.
What is Kindland?
Kindland is a movement rooted in spreading and celebrating everyday acts of kindness — big and small. It encourages residents, businesses, schools, and local organizations to recognize and share kindness in a way that inspires others and builds collective momentum toward a more compassionate society.
At its core, Kindland’s mission is to make kindness the “overriding and unifying value” across communities nationwide.

South Euclid-Lyndhurst Schools
The South Euclid-Lyndhurst Schools is an active partner in the Kindland movement, integrating kindness into student life and character education. Through free Kindland programming and tools — including classroom lessons, community challenges, and kindness reporting — students are encouraged to become leaders of positive change.
