Crystal Shelby joined the South Euclid Lyndhurst Schools Board of Education in January 2024, having been a part of our school family since 2015. First serving as a room mom at Sunview Elementary School for her son’s homeroom, she has gone on to fulfill every position in the district’s PTA over the last 8 years, including President at Greenview and Memorial Junior High. Crystal has also served as Band Booster President at Charles F. Brush High School, and as a volunteer for the youth soccer organization in our community.
Currently working as an Operations Manager for a nationwide property management company, Crystal ensures compliance with federal government legal guidelines for hundreds of properties. She has two children enrolled in the South Euclid Lyndhurst Schools, Henry, at Brush High School and Reagan, at Memorial Junior High.
Crystal looks forward to working with her Board colleagues to affirm the district’s vision of being The Destination School Community and supporting the staff and administration in their pursuit of accomplishing our school goals. Brainstorming new ideas and finding solutions to challenges with fresh thoughts will be a priority, so that our district policies and procedures will be efficient and serve the whole child. Ultimately, Crystal intends to continue bringing our school district and community together by fostering strong relationships and keeping students in the SEL Schools.
Ashley King - Vice President

Ashley King took office to serve on the Board of Education in January 2022. She is a proud resident of the City of South Euclid, where she has lived since 2017. Apart from her service to the South Euclid Lyndhurst Board of Education, Ms. King is the current Chair of the South Euclid Planning Commission and has served as a Board Member of the One South Euclid Community Development Corporation.

Erin Lee is a member of the Board of Education and has served the South Euclid Lyndhurst Schools in this capacity since 2015. During her tenure, she has served as Board Vice President, been a member of the Black Caucus for the Ohio School Board Association, and Legislative Liaison with the school district. Erin Lee has been extremely involved in the South Euclid Lyndhurst Schools in other roles and responsibilities, including being an active member of the Athletic Boosters organization. She has also served as PTA president at the council level and school level over the years as well for 8 years in total. Erin Lee has four children, the oldest of whom graduated from Charles F. Brush High School in 2021, along with three others children currently enrolled in the SEL Schools at various buildings.
Erin Lee has been a resident of both the City of South Euclid and the City of Lyndhurst over the years, and remains quite active in, and dedicated to the communities served by our wonderful school district.
Christian Sanders - Board Member

Christian Sanders is honored to serve on the South Euclid Lyndhurst School Board, where he and his family have proudly called South Euclid home for the past two years. With a background in educational administration at the middle school, high school, and collegiate levels, Christian brings a broad perspective and commitment to student success. He recently completed his service on the Marietta College Alumni Association Council and, professionally, manages early career talent programs, drawing on more than a decade of experience dedicated to youth development.
Christian and his wife are the proud parents of a kindergartner entering the district, and they look forward to deepening their involvement in the community while supporting the growth and success of all students.
Becky Richardson - Board Member

Becky Richardson joined the South Euclid Lyndhurst Board of Education in January 2026. She has been an active member of the school community since 2016, when she began her involvement with the Sunview PTA. Over the years, Becky has held various leadership roles, including serving as President of the Sunview PTA, Greenview PTA, and the SEL PTA Council. In addition to her PTA contributions, she is a dedicated volunteer for the Band Boosters and a local scout troop.
