Ohio’s College Credit Plus (CCP) program gives students in grades 7–12 the opportunity to earn both high school and college credit at the same time—by taking college courses at community colleges or universities across the state. The goal of CCP is to enhance college and career readiness and offer rigorous academic options to students for free—that means no cost for tuition, books, or fees. Students attending private colleges or those who are homeschooled may be responsible for limited costs.

Excel TECC is an innovative career preparatory program that is made available to SEL Schools and surrounding school districts. The primary objective of Excel TECC is to prepare students to enter a four year college, two year technical school, or a career of their choice.

• Ohio Dyslexia Law: Ohio’s Dyslexia Law ensures that schools identify and support students with dyslexia early. Starting in kindergarten, schools screen students to spot signs of reading difficulties. If needed, students receive extra support with reading through evidence-based instruction. Families are kept in the loop every step of the way, so children get the support they need to become confident, successful readers.
• K-3 ARC Connections Classes (Social Studies Integration): The ARC Connections class brings social studies to life by combining social emotional learning! Students explore big ideas in history, culture, and civics through engaging books and thoughtful discussions. This approach helps students build strong literacy and social emotional skills while learning about their community and how they can make a difference.
• K-3 STEM Classes (Science Standards Integration): STEM classes in our school blend science learning with exciting hands-on activities. Students use critical thinking and creativity to solve real-world problems while exploring topics in science, technology, engineering, and math. These lessons follow Ohio’s science standards and inspire curiosity, teamwork, and innovation in every student.
• HMH Into Reading Curriculum with Amira (HQIM): HMH Into Reading is a high-quality reading program designed to help every child become a confident, skilled reader. It offers engaging lessons that build vocabulary, comprehension, and phonics skills. The program includes Amira, an AI-powered reading tutor that provides personalized support to students. Importantly, HMH Into Reading is one of the core English Language Arts curricula approved by the Ohio Department of Education and Workforce for grades K–5, ensuring it aligns with the state's science of reading standards .
• enVision® Mathematics 2020 (Grades K–3): The enVision® 2020 math program helps young learners in grades K–3 build a solid foundation in math through fun, visual, and interactive lessons. Students learn to understand numbers, solve problems, and think like mathematicians. The curriculum follows Ohio's math standards and makes learning math meaningful and engaging.

Summer Assignments
