Ohio’s College Credit Plus (CCP) program gives students in grades 7–12 the opportunity to earn both high school and college credit at the same time—by taking college courses at community colleges or universities across the state. The goal of CCP is to enhance college and career readiness and offer rigorous academic options to students for free—that means no cost for tuition, books, or fees. Students attending private colleges or those who are homeschooled may be responsible for limited costs.
Many high schools partner with local colleges to offer specific CCP courses, but students aren’t limited to those options. You can enroll in CCP courses from any participating college or university, including online courses, as long as they align with your academic and career goals.
Each college or university sets its own application process and admission requirements. Once you've identified the college you'd like to attend for CCP, visit their website to apply and follow their steps to enroll.
To secure a spot, parents and students must complete the College Credit Plus Intent Form by the following deadlines:
April 1, 2025 - Summer 2025 Courses
November 1, 2025 - Spring 2026 Courses
For more information about getting started with CCP, including deadlines and advising, please contact your school counselor.
